Yes we can get rid of polythene bags.It should be a campaign of Say "NO" to polythene bags. And every body should stop accepting the usual plastic bags form vendors or any shop. Ask the cashier to avoid accumulating further plastic bags. Though he may not follow you, regular asking for it may help to create awareness; at least to the consumers following you in queue. Find alternatives. Start using cotton or jute shopping bags as substitutes for holding the shopping. These bags are cheap and are easy to carry too. Recycling: Recycling the polythene bags, instead of throwing them out, then letting those sit in a landfill, can be another great idea. If these bags are recycled, they can come into use for various purposes, like holding the garbage. Government's strict rule: Administration, though has been working out ways to get rid of such bags, must be strict with their regulations.
This can help to fight polythene bags.

We all know the solution to the polythene bags...to attain something we must sacrifice something else.
Closing those companies manufacturing the polythene bags would of course affect the economy but as well will save the nature with its aspects which are the living things

I think the government is the problem because when ever they bann polythene bags they are bribed the the companies producing polythene and they let them produce more.
