It is a good idea to hear that the ministry of education Uganda has made kiswashili language compulsory. I will like it if every country should adopt that.

It was right though the government delayed to implement the teaching of kiswahili to be compulsory. It should noted that East Africa must have a common language that unites us and Africa at large. And this can not wipe away English

I love the fact that they've chosen to embrace there own language and culture. Its good to promote local tradition and customs. This will help grow kids the right way, with all do respect to foreign languages, it is not out of disrespect I make this statement but out of love instead. Its good to learn multiple languages but let us not forget our very own.

Yes Swahili has been officially pronounced as an official language in Uganda, and its going to be compulsory in ugandan schools. For the purpose of the east African integration, this is a great development to ensure economic harmony between the member states of the eas African community.
