Yes, the rate of HIV is slowly by slowly reducing in most of African countries. This has been greatly associated with the governments efforts to bring down the disease. The governments are greatly aided by the US aid donations in form of arvs, sensitisation and personnel. The governments have increased the sensitisation against HIV in schools, towns and villages. The school's have always got PIASY messages such abstaining from sex until marriage, using condoms if all comes to worse and being faithful to their partners after marriage. There has also been extension of arvs to the people throughout the country both in rural areas and urban areas. Extended counseling and testing services which has also made it easy to fight HIV.
