One of the major reason why insects do not die when they placed their head in the fluid is because they breathe through the spiracles

These are the features of a true insect.
When you place the head of other organisms like birds in fluids they certainly die but why do insects die not when their heads merely are immersed in fluids?

Yes, putting an insect's head in water does not lead to its death. In the first place the breathing and respiratory system of an insect is found on the abdomen not the head. So putting the insect's head into water leaves the breathing system alive and this does not affect the insect's life since breathing continues as usual.

It is true that when you put an insect in water it dies. This is because the respiratory organs of insects are found on the body not on the head thats why insect have long legs and they always dodge water much as they like flogged areas but they try to look for dead and smelly organisms.

Unlike the spider, a true insect must have six legs and three body divisions that is, head, thorax and abdomen. These are the features of a true insect.
When you place the head of other organisms like birds in fluids they certainly die but why do insects die not when their heads merely are immersed in fluids?
• Insects respiratory organs are not placed on their heads like many other organisms. Insects breathe through small pores scientifically known as "Spiracles" that are placed on the abdomen. And so when this abdominal part is not placed in water, the insect can still live because it's respiratory organs are free from fluid which would block it from receiving oxygen.
